Brand films & commercials.
End-to-end commercial production for brands, agencies, and marketing teams. Concept, motion-control craft, and post-production handled under one roof in downtown LA.
What we deliver.
Concept to finished commercial
Treatment, storyboarding, casting (when needed), direction, motion-control programming, lighting, shooting, editing, color, and sound — all owned by one team. No vendor stacking, no handoff gaps, one budget.
Agency-side or brand-side
We partner with creative directors at agencies for big-brand campaign execution, and we partner directly with brand marketing teams when there's no agency in the chain. Both models work; we adapt the deliverable structure to whichever it is.
Beverage, tech, CPG, lifestyle
Black+Decker, Garmin, Soylent, Klean Kanteen, Virgil's, Panasonic, Hint Water, AG1, Ecowell, KOS, Haute Mess. Recognizable brand work on the reel, with the case studies and references to back it up.
Brand commercial work is the connective tissue of every product-led marketing campaign. The hero spot anchors a launch. The 30-second cut runs on connected TV. The 15-second cutdown runs on YouTube pre-roll. The 6-second bumper handles paid social. The vertical edit handles TikTok and Reels. Done well, one commercial production becomes ten deliverables — and the savings come from the production planning, not from cutting corners.
BestBoy Media is built to deliver this stack. We take a campaign brief from a creative director or a brand marketing team and produce the full commercial system from it — pre-production through delivery, with the cutdowns and platform-specific edits handled in the same post pass. Concepts are developed in-house with the client; storyboards and shot lists are reviewed before shoot day; the motion-control work happens with our own equipment in our own studio.
Our roster includes Black+Decker, Garmin, Soylent, Klean Kanteen, Virgil's Root Beer, Panasonic, Hint Water, AG1, Ecowell, KOS, and Haute Mess. Some of these started as agency-led campaigns; others were brand-direct. We've been working with consumer brands since 2017 and the work has been on national and global campaigns across paid social, broadcast, retail, and ecommerce.
For agencies: we operate as a production partner. You bring the creative; we execute it. For brands: we operate as a creative lead. You bring the product and the goal; we develop the concept and execute it. Either way the relationship is the same — clear briefs, agreed scope, transparent budget, and finished work on time.
Brands we've worked with.
Brand & commercial work, answered.
Both. Roughly half our work comes through ad agencies and creative-led brand teams; the other half comes directly from in-house marketing departments at brands that don't run through an external agency. The workflow adapts but the production is the same. Brand-direct work usually means we contribute more on the concept side; agency work usually means executing a treatment they own.
We build two to three rounds of editorial revisions into every project as standard, with one round of color and one of sound following editorial lockup. For agency work the rounds are usually used by the creative team's internal review process; for brand-direct work the rounds are used by the marketing team and stakeholders. Out-of-scope changes are quoted before they're started — no surprise post invoices.
Yes. Most of our pre-launch work runs under NDA — unannounced products, packaging, formulations, and marketing positioning. The studio and team operate under NDA for the duration of the engagement; the work doesn't go on the public reel until the campaign launches or the brand approves it.
Four to eight weeks from brief to delivery is standard for a single-product commercial with cutdowns. Multi-product launches or campaigns requiring extensive motion-control sequences run six to ten weeks. Faster turnarounds happen for specific reasons (a fixed media buy, a launch date that can't move) and we'll be honest on the discovery call about whether a tight schedule is realistic for the scope.
